BARCELONA CIUTAT REFUGI USES PICTURES FROM SUEÑOS REFUGIADOS PROJECT

BARCELONA CIUTAT REFUGI from Barcelona City Council has decided to change the kind of pictures used in their website. From December 2018 BARCELONA CIUTAT REFUGI has decided to use pictures taken by refugees or asylum seekers persons in their new environment, in Barcelona, instead of pictures taken by photojournalists in their home countries, refugees’ camps and border crossings.

All the pictures used in the slide show of their homepage were taken by the participants of the project Sueños Refugiados, which I conceived and directed during 6 months in 2017.

We are proud of having been chosen by the Barcelona City Council / Refugee City to illustrate their website.
